Georgie Nugent Lussier, CHMM
Georgie Nugent Lussier, CHMM is a Senior Project Manager responsible for managing and developing environmental projects for the firm. Ms. Lussier has over twelve years of experience in Biological Resources, Property Transactions, Environmental Compliance Audits, Asbestos and Lead Based Inspections, Remedial Site Design and Brownfield Redevelopment. She is also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and a New York Department of Health Certified Asbestos Inspector.
Ms. Lussier was appointed to the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) Board of Directors in May 2009 and serves as the Vice Chairperson. She is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Saratoga and serves on the City of Saratoga Springs Design Review Commission. She is a member of the Earth Day Grant Committee for the Air and Waste Management Association and the Scholarship Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York. She is also a member of the American Public Transportation Association Sustainability Committee.
She is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh
where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and
Geology and attended the Colorado School of Mines where she received her Master
of Science degree in Environmental Science and Engineering
