Replacement
and Rehabilitation of Two Thruway Mainline Structures at MP
194.41 and MP 194.55 in Canajoharie
This project included
the replacement of one structure and the rehabilitation of another
carrying the mainline over Canajoharie Creek and Church Street.
This project included construction inspection and support services
for the replacement of a single span structure over Church Street
(MP 194.41) and the rehabilitation of a five-span structure,
mainline over the Canajoharie Creek and State Highway 10 (MP
194.55).
The structure carrying the mainline over the Canajoharie
Creek included extensive substructure and superstructure reconstruction.
A new lane was constructed through the median to allow lane shifts
for maintenance and protection of traffic. This fast-track project
was finished on schedule,
within
budget, and with minimal problems.
