Replacement
of Thruway Mainline Bridge
at Rynex Corners Road, MP 167.03
This project included the replacement
of a structure carrying Rynex Corner Road over the Thruway
mainline at MP 167.03 with a two-span, 200 foot long, continuous
integral abutment structure
founded on cast-in-place piles. The midspan pier was also
founded on C.I.P piles. Maintenance and protection of traffic
for the mainline during construction of the midpsan pier
included lane shifts and coordination with the NYS police
and NYSTA Traffic Division. The design team
provided construction inspection and support services for
this project.
