Watervliet-Shaker
Road (CR 157) Road Improvement Project
Foit-Albert Associates was
hired to provide on-site construction inspection services
for the Watervliet-Shaker Road Improvement Project in the
Town of Colonie, NY. The design team
provided oversight to ensure the quality of construction
and conformity with
the final plans and specifications, and preparation of as-built
plans.
This project is a federally-funded pass-through project, PIN 1754.04
involving the reconstruction of County Route 157 (Watervliet-Shaker
Road) from Airline Drive to Sand Creek Road. The reconstruction includes
roadway widening, intersection improvements, bridge and multi-use
path construction, wetlands mitigation, drainage improvements, and
historic preservation to the Shaker Museum.
