Fruit Belt Housing Development - Buffalo, NY

Foit-Albert Associates completed architectural and engineering services related to the design and construction of thirteen townhouse units in the Fruit Belt area of Buffalo. The new housing complements the existing urban neighborhood, offering attractive, low-maintenance housing through DHCR funding.

The Environmental Team wrote Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) Reports for thirteen proposed housing sites across the Fruit Belt community. Each housing site was comprised of multiple building parcels. The Phase I ESAs were completed in accordance with ASTM E 1527-00 and new ASTM E 1527-05 Standards (Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process).

A Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) was also completed for the project in accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, as part of the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process for the project.
