Erie County
Family Courthouse
The goal of this project was to create a new building
to facilitate the Erie County Family Court and Probation Department
Operations and eliminate serious overcrowding conditions in existing
County Hall.
The combined departments staff the building with approximately 350
employees who serve an average of 1,600 visitors daily.
The final design resulted in a 164,000 square foot
eight-story building. The facility is designed to be expandable
to ten stories.
