Inner Harbor
& Waterfront Parking Facility - Buffalo, NY
Foit-Albert Associates is currently
designing the Inner Harbor Parking Facility for the City
of Buffalo. The building will
be constructed in the block between Main and Washington Streets
where the soon-to-be-removed Donovan Building is now located.
The 1,300
space, 473,000 square foot building will be constructed with
reinforced precast concrete and will include ground floor retail
space.
The
six story building will serve multiple functions including
support of future Buffalo Waterfront development, current
downtown events
and downtown commuter parking.
Foit-Albert Associates has
also completed the NEPA/SEQR environmental review process.
The Foit-Albert Environmental Team oversaw all aspects
of the environmental review process, including preparation
of the Environmental Impact Statement, facilitation of
Steering Committee Meetings, public meetings and design workshops.
Scope
of work also includes completion of traffic study,
archeological and geotechnical investigations.
