Buffalo Zoological
Gardens -- River Otter Exhibit
The design team performed
construction administration services for the building of
the new River Otter Exhibit located in the Buffalo Zoological
Gardens. This exhibit
was the second phase of the Buffalo Zoo’s Master Plan.
These large, charismatic, aquatic mammals serve as ambassadors
for
the Zoo’s
“water” theme. Exciting underwater viewing opportunities
are available in the habitats, enabling visitors to
observe the river
otters at play. The river otter
exhibit focuses on the reintroduction of this beloved native
species into Western New York.
