Maxwell
Road Roundabout
This project involves
the design of the relocation of the Maxwell Road and Albany
Shaker Road intersection for the Town of Colonie. As part
of the intersection relocation, the project involves the
realignment of 0.77 km of Maxwell Road and the rehabilitation
and reconstruction of a portion of Albany Shaker Road.
The proposed road design includes the addition
of shoulders, existing pavement rehabilitation, new sidewalks,
curbs, and closed drainage improvements along with required
utility relocations. The project also includes the design
of a new modern roundabout for the proposed intersection
of Maxwell
Road and Albany Shaker Road. Foit-Albert Associates attended
all public hearings on behalf of the Owner, provided the
final design services and bidding support.
