Typical Lecture Hall

3rd Floor

Clement Cafe

The Alfiero Center Addition to the Jacobs Hall School of Management - SUNY Buffalo

The Alfiero Center is considered the focal point of the University at Buffalo's North campus. Program spaces for this 23,000 SF, 3-story addition includes; classrooms, lecture halls, administrative spaces, and career resources center, along with a multi-use atrium featuring student support spaces and the Clement Cafe.

There are two remarkable features of the building interior. A metal and glass skylight bathes the building interior with daylight. A glass curtain wall system provides a signature element on the north façade facing the “spine” of the campus.

A plaza located just north west of the building addition provides the dominant landscape of the project. The plaza is a major point of entry to the revised Jacobs Hall facility. Tree plantings and scored concrete ground surfaces lend scale and interest to the plaza.
